The national flag of Cameroon was adopted on May 20, 1975 after Cameroon became a unitary state. The color scheme uses the traditional Pan-African colors. The center stripe stands for unity: red is the color of unity, and the star is referred to as “the star of unity”. The yellow stands for the sun, while the green is for the forests in the southern part of Cameroon. Our international flags are accurately reproduced to exact specifications. The flag has 2 brass grommets on the left edge for hanging. The 4″x6″ size is mounted to a staff with a spear top. Polyester flags are imported and not recommended for prolonged outdoor use. For outdoor use, we recommend our nylon flags. Also available below is an indoor/ceremonial version of the flag with a pole sleeve and gold fringe.
NOTE: Indoor flags are made-to-order, so please allow 2-3 days before your order will ship if you order an indoor flag.
