The national flag of Bhutan consists of a white dragon over a yellow and orange background. The flag is navided diagonally from the lower hoist side corner, making two triangles. The upper triangle is yellow and the lower triangle is orange. The dragon is centered along the naviding line, facing away from the hoist side. The dragon grasps jewels, representing wealth, in its claws. The yellow field symbolizes the secular monarchy, while the orange represents the Buddhist religion. Our international flags are accurately reproduced to exact specifications. The flag has 2 brass grommets on the left edge for hanging. The 4″x6″ size is mounted to a staff with a spear top. Polyester flags are imported and not recommended for prolonged outdoor use. For outdoor use, we recommend our nylon flags. Also available below is an indoor/ceremonial version of the flag with a pole sleeve and gold fringe.
NOTE: Indoor flags are made-to-order, so please allow 2-3 days before your order will ship if you order an indoor flag.
