The flag of the Bahamas has the black triangle on the left represents the unity of the 300,000 people of The Bahamas. To the right of the triangle, the blue stripes at the top and bottom of the flag represent the Caribbean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean, and the gold stripe in the middle represents the sun and sand between them: the sandy shores of the Bahamian islands. The flag was adopted on July 10, 1973. Our international flags are accurately reproduced to exact specifications. The flag has 2 brass grommets on the left edge for hanging. The 4″x6″ size is mounted to a staff with a spear top. Also available below is a Waterproof Vinyl Decal (suitable for outdoor use). Polyester flags are imported and not recommended for prolonged outdoor use. For outdoor use, we recommend our nylon flags. Also available below is an indoor/ceremonial version of the flag with a pole sleeve and gold fringe.
NOTE: Indoor flags are made-to-order, so please allow 2-3 days before your order will ship if you order an indoor flag.
